During your first year, your role will be broad and include:
People Generalist (75% of role)
Design and drive a benefits portfolio that supports employee needs. Ability to shift from strategic to the tactics needed to deliver the open enrollment processes and ensure clear, effective communication of benefits to employees
Lead the administration and optimization of our employee benefits programs, including health and wellness offerings
Manage all aspects of employee leaves (FMLA, disability, parental, medical, etc.) from intake to return-to-work processes
Support all People programs and initiatives across the employee lifecycle
Execute and enhance onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for employees
Collaborate and design with the People team on all People initiatives including performance management, compensation and manager readiness training
Assist with People policies and procedures development and implementation
Collaborate with Recruiting to support the new hire process and communicate benefits information to candidates
Performance management: Collaborate with peers to lead and coordinate the end-to-end performance review cycles (e.g., mid-year and year-end), ensuring consistency, fairness, and timely completion across all departments.
Career Frameworks & Job Leveling: Partnering with the business to create career frameworks and competencies that align with Cambly’s current org and growth.
Analytics: Deciding where and how we collect data, how often we report it and to whom, and what types of analyses are most important
Workplace Operations & Facilities (25% of role)
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked office environment by managing inventory, supplies, snacks, and workspace organization.
Create an inclusive in-office experience through creative events and all hands.
Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors and building services, including maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, plant care, and other facility-related needs.
Conduct research to inform office supply purchasing decisions, track inventory levels, and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure smooth office operations.
Identify inefficiencies within office operations and collaborate with departments such as People, Finance, and IT to implement process improvements and optimize workflows.
Oversee office safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including managing safety protocols such as safety drills, first aid procedures, and other workplace safety initiatives.
What skills you’ll bring:
Analysis: you are able to balance quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions in both a reflective and predictive manner. Experience with Excel required.
Business Acumen: you drive initiatives from a strategic level through business goals and objectives. You create awareness in digging into the business details and by partnering closely with the organization.

Project Management & Organization: must have structured and organized workflow, and ability to project manage lengthy projects with multiple deadlines and stakeholder needs.
IT: you’re familiar with basic office tech and are happy to lend a hand when someone forgets their password or needs help accessing tools.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success in high-growth technology organizations
Experience administering HR tech stack
Experience managing benefits, compensation, equity programs and planning
People management skills - must have experience managing people and programs previously
Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders from Manager to Executive level on company initiatives to impact change across organizations.

Compensation
Base salary: $120,000-$140,000 USD
