As Head of GTM Enablement at Carta, you will be responsible for leading a 10-person enablement team that works across both sales and post-sale (customer success, implementation and support). You will work with an excellent, high-achieving set of sales and CS stakeholders and in partnership with a broader 50-person GTM Operations team.
Core responsibilities:
- Educate the business about the role of enablement and build strong partnerships with key stakeholders
- Build partnerships with Product Marketing, Pricing, and BizOps teams
- Create a quarterly cadence that is aligned to the business and key groups
- Move the role of enablement from reactive to proactive and data-driven
- Drive cross-functional alignment and change with key partners
- Partner with GTM Operations to increase sales and CS performance and efficiency
- Measure and provide reports on the impact of enablement to the business
- Lead the vision for the enablement tech stack in partnership with GTM Operations to improve the systems that help our teams learn
- Plan and execute key events including Sales and CS Kickoffs
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of go-to-market enablement professionals
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to drive individual and team success
The Team You'll Work With
You’ll be joining a 10 person enablement team across sales and customer success, and be part of a broader 50-person GTM Ops team that drives data, strategy and operations across all GTM Functions. This role reports into our VP of GTM Operations.
This is a San Francisco based role with 3 days a week in office. Most key stakeholders, teammates and partners work out of the San Francisco office.
About You
- 10+ years of experience in GTM (Sales, CS) enablement
- Demonstrated success in building partnerships with key partners
- Strategic problem solver who can take broad visions to develop structured plans, actions and metrics to execute those plans
- Experience with Sandler / other sales methodologies and how to implement / leverage them
- Deep experience and passion for understanding the products your team enables
- Exceptional communicator with experience building relationships in complex SaaS organizations
- Nice to have: current or past experience leading a sales or CS team

Salary
Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: $195,000 - $260,000 in San Francisco, CA. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
