  • Drive annual and quarterly planning and prioritization across the marketing organization, matching strategy to tactics alongside spend and ROI
  • Identify key decision points in program strategy and execution, and align input/resources to create paths forward
  • Gather and integrate data for reporting against plan deliverables and ROI to inform future planning cycles
  • Support demand gen deliverables working across content, product marketing, performance marketing, growth, revenue, GTM/marketing operations and other teams
  • Build product launch RACIs for marketing, articulate deliverables with deadlines and manage to on-time, high quality launch
  • Partner with creative project/program managers on brand projects with significant impact for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Help inform CMO’s agenda(s) for key internal meetings including all-hands and offsites in line with progress and milestones on complex projects
  • Partner with Strategy/Biz Ops on operationalizing experiments within overall marketing plan

The marketing program manager plays a critical role in planning for the marketing team and collaborating across multiple functions to ensure strategy is fully reflected in tactics and grounded in data. This role is a strong partner for marketers with stakeholders including business unit leads, Product/Product Marketing, MOps, Sales/Business Development and Strategy/Biz Ops.

The Team You'll Work With

You’ll be joining our Marketing team reporting to the CMO.

About You

  • A rigorous approach to mastering complexity is a must, without sacrificing empathy and flexibility for unplanned needs that can be required in a dynamic environment.
  • A strategic and analytical thinker who can connect programs/projects to business priorities
  • The ability to bring people along in planning and act as a team unifier in meeting goals
  • An understanding of how sub-functions of marketing come together for impact
  • A level of character that builds trust and exemplifies working collaboratively
  • 3-5+ years experience in program or project management
  • Experience in working with Asana or equivalent platforms
  • BA required
  • SaaS experience strongly preferred

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: $148,750 - $175,000 in San Francisco, CA. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
