The Problems You'll Solve

At Carta, our employees set out on a mission to unlock the power of equity ownership for more people in more places. We believe that the problems we solve today unlock the opportunities of tomorrow. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work to:

  • Build systems to sync HRIS data to Carta and keep Stakeholder personal information up to date.
  • Power downstream products in Carta including the Captable, Tax Withholdings, Carta Total Compensation, and others.
  • Build tools for companies to manage their Stakeholder data, and also interface with other teams.
  • You will lead projects end-to-end, partnering with Product and Design to understand requirements, and proposing and implementing solutions.

The Team You'll Work With

You’ll be joining our Stakeholder Management team

You’ll get to work alongside and learn from some of the brightest minds. You’ll contribute to our mission to keep Stakeholder data up to date. You will work closely with your team of engineers, a product manager, and a designer, as part of the Corporations BU.

About You

You have a minimum of 4 years experience in backend or full stack development and enjoy building products that are focused on solving problems for customers. You are comfortable with or willing to learn our technology stack: Python/Django, ReactJS, AWS, Kafka, gRPC. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll interface with product managers, engineers, designers, customer support, and domain experts so strong communication skills are essential. You are interested in and motivated by the idea of learning about the complex technical and business domain, understanding the problems and becoming an expert in Carta's business.

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:


$175,950 - $207,000 in San Francisco, California

Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
