The Team You’ll Work With

The Strategy & Business Operations team partners with Carta’s c-suite to drive Carta’s strategy, identify opportunities for organic and inorganic growth and investment, and drive innovation and best-in-class execution across teams to accelerate our path to $1bn+ in annual revenue.

The Problems You’ll Solve

As the M&A Integration Lead you will:

  • Work with product and business leaders within Carta to influence strategy for our different businesses and products
  • Develop integration strategy and deliver robust integration plans for acquisitions
  • Own integration plan execution, and ensure strong alignment with acquired founders and teams about go-forward planning
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on all aspects of the integration - people, back office, operations, product, business integration. Run integration meetings and project lead all workstreams
  • Work with cross-functional groups within Carta (including Legal, People, Finance / Accounting, Product, Engineering teams) to plan, prioritize, and execute projects on time and within budget
  • Interact with senior leadership in developing integration plans and identifying issues/concerns to ensure alignment of objectives
  • Create materials and develop communications to provide regular updates to the leadership team on progress, key decisions, and major risks / issues that need to be resolved
  • Continuously improve integration capabilities by identifying and developing process improvements, playbooks and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and improve the quality of integration efforts.

About You

We're seeking someone who has…

  • Have a learning mindset; Carta sits at the intersection of software, private markets, public markets and other capital markets players - we learn new things every day
  • 6 - 8+ years of experience in M&A integration, management consulting, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate strategy, or business operations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively design and set priorities, goals, and feedback loops with internal teams
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software, SaaS; experience working in the VC/PE ecosystem and/or fintech a plus
  • Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to accelerate Carta’s growth
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, especially to executives

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:
$208,000 - $295,000 salary point in SF and NY

Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
