The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director, Customer Experience Product Management to play a critical role in driving the company's product vision, overseeing executive software demonstrations, spearheading go-to-market strategies, managing stakeholder communications, and leading various other product management activities. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of communication and presentation skills, technical acumen, market insight, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to guide our product team to new heights. This hands-on role will start as an individual contributor.
Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our Soho NY, NY or San Francisco, CA offices. Occasional travel between the two offices is required.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Communications: Serve as a key liaison between the product team and internal/external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors, to gather feedback and communicate product strategy
- Product Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Product to define the product vision and roadmap, prioritizing development initiatives to meet business goals
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, leveraging insights to inform product development and positioning
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates, ensuring our products meet market needs and achieve maximum penetration, in alignment with the company's objectives and market needs
- Executive Engagement: Lead high-impact demonstrations of our software to executives and key decision-makers, showcasing the value and capabilities of our solutions
- Client & Prospect Outreach: Coordinate and execute outreach programs to build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects, gathering feedback to inform product development
- Team Leadership: Support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably within private markets, secondary trading, VC, or buy-side asset management as well as retail exposure
- Extensive knowledge of private market secondary trading, VC workflows, and buy-side asset management software solutions.
- Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and product value propositions to a variety of audiences
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Demonstrable track record of successful go-to-market strategy execution and stakeholder engagement
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a focus on delivering results, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, driving projects forward with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
For residents of San Francisco/Bay Area, CA and New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $230,000 - $240,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, annual bonus, and other factors.
