As a Maintenance Tech on the Facilities team, a typical day for you will include:
Maintenance and Repairs: Provide basic knowledge & experience around plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs. (e.g. repair leaks in drains and faucets, repair or replacement of fixtures, repair holes in dry-wall).
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on building systems (e.g. routine HVAC maintenance/filter replacements, irrigation systems, emergency generator systems, gutters, roof leaks).
Work Order Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize maintenance work orders.
Emergency Response: Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.

(Required qualifications)

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or related field
Proven ability to perform maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel

Skills: Self-motivated and results-driven professional.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all customer interactions
Adaptable to changing priorities and environments
Effective communicator and team collaborator
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Sense of humor.

Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Valid driver's license
Schedule / in-office requirements: Waco Headquarters, 5 days in office, Monday–Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Flexible availability for after-hours emergencies.
