As a Maintenance Tech on the Facilities team, a typical day for you will include:

• Maintenance and Repairs: Provide basic knowledge & experience around plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs. (e.g. repair leaks in drains and faucets, repair or replacement of fixtures, repair holes in dry-wall).

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on building systems (e.g. routine HVAC maintenance/filter replacements, irrigation systems, emergency generator systems, gutters, roof leaks).

• Work Order Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize maintenance work orders.

• Emergency Response: Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.

(Required qualifications)

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or related field

  • Proven ability to perform maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel

• Skills: Self-motivated and results-driven professional.

  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all customer interactions

  • Adaptable to changing priorities and environments

  • Effective communicator and team collaborator

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation

  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

  • Sense of humor.

• Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

  • Valid driver's license

• Schedule / in-office requirements: Waco Headquarters, 5 days in office, Monday–Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Flexible availability for after-hours emergencies.
