Are you passionate about marketing and eager to make a significant impact? As a Growth Marketing Manager at Sonder, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth through innovative marketing strategies and optimization.

The Opportunity:

Marketing operations management (40%)

• Lead and manage daily marketing campaigns across all online channels, including Google Ads, MetaSearch, Facebook, and more.
• Oversee the creation, deployment, and quality assurance of marketing assets across all platforms.
• Ensure seamless onboarding of new Sonder buildings across marketing channels.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with agencies and third-party vendors to enhance marketing deliverables.

Channel performance optimization (40%)

• Collaborate closely with local revenue management teams and data science experts to enhance channel performance through bid optimization.

Project management for growth initiatives (20%)

• Drive key growth marketing projects, including the activation of new channels in partnership with Growth Marketing, Design, and Product teams.
• Identify and implement performance improvement tests.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis of channel and market performance.

Collaborative work:

• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Communications, Revenue Management, Brand, and Distribution teams to achieve shared goals.

Who We Look For:

• Experience: Demonstrable years of marketing experience in high-growth consumer internet businesses, preferably within a growth marketing team.
• Digital expertise: Proven experience in creating and managing marketing campaigns across digital channels (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
• Process-oriented: A rigorous approach to developing efficient and effective processes.
• Organized and communicative: Strong organizational and communication skills with a love for project management.
• Proactive: A self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of working independently and within a team.
• Strategic and detail-oriented: Ability to think strategically while diving into details as needed.
• Leadership: Experience or interest in managing freelancers or marketing agencies.
• Prioritization: Ability to prioritize daily tasks and long-term planning effectively.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Language skills: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, economics, or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in hospitality.
• Experience working across cultures and time zones in a remote environment.
