About The RoleThe Operations team leads our vision, strategy, execution and tactics for our Driver and Rider Operations in Hong Kong. Operations is all about running our business on the ground and helping our riders and driver partners get the most out of Uber’s platform.We are seeking an Operations Associate to make direct business impact through strategic growth and engagement of taxi driver partners.This is a unique opportunity associated with Uber's platform. This role calls for creative thinking & hustle, excellence in execution, ability to lead projects & initiatives, and solid communication skills to work jointly with stakeholders.In practice this requires a unique mix of project management skills; an ability to quickly understand our product and identify potential features / processes that will improve user experience. Highly refined data-driven problem solving skills, as well as toughness, persistence and grit, are required to ensure execution excellence, while providing the quality of service we demand for our users. This is an intense, business-side fast-paced role, with a clear and direct impact on the growth of our business. Your Impact In Role
  • Shape and lead projects that drive the growth of active taxi drivers Analyse complex data to understand user behaviour and areas for improvement in communication channel, sign-up and incentive programs
  • Optimise business performance, identify opportunities and propose impactful solutions
  • Be a passionate advocate for driver partners and be able to answer any questions that come your way in a fast-moving environment
  • Take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps. Own processes and constantly seek to improve them

  • A data-driven and analytical in mindset - You examine data and know the right questions to ask to get to actionable outcomes
  • Strong project management skills - You drive projects from beginning to end and deliver the results. You have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks
  • Curiosity - You love learning how things work and always look for innovative solutions to develop and improve processes
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills - You have great relationship building skills and ability to collaborate across functions and seniority
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English
  • SQL knowledge required (and if not, must possess an aptitude to learn quickly as it will quickly form part of your day-to-day activity)
