About The RoleWe are actively looking for a passionate product or program manager, who will be responsible for coordinating the rollout of new monetized products across both the Mobility and Delivery platforms. This program lead will manage the prioritization of new, consumer-facing ad surfaces and formats, working closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing and Sales teams. As such, this individual must be an excellent communicator and adept at bringing others along. This is an ideal role for someone who is customer focused, highly organized and analytical, resourceful and able to effectively convey business plans to all levels of management, and operate at all levels of the organization.The role will report into the Business Lead for Emerging Ad products. The scope and potential impact is worldwide, with the core team sitting across North America. What You’ll Do
  • As a strategic thinker, the person in this role will work with technical, design and sales leaders, to make the case for emerging monetization products and bring them to life.
  • You will participate in developing the strategy and vision for emerging ad surfaces and help in evangelizing this vision within the organization.
  • You will help influence and define the emerging ad products roadmap, and help scale successful pilots globally.
  • You will partner with go-to-market leads and Learning & Development teams on training and execution, as well as Measurement & Insights teams to understand impact of new launches.
  • You will help drive projects and feature launches, striking the right balance between short-term revenue maximizing initiatives and long-term bets.
Basic Qualifications
  • Business administration degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of product management, program management, strategy or business development experience.
  • Demonstrated efficiency in working within matrixed organizations to influence and deliver results.
  • Experience building successful consumer-facing products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years' experience in product management, program management, strategy or business
  • Expert understanding of digital advertising.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Proven success ideating and launching products from end-to-end.
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $107,000 per year - $119,000 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $119,000 per year - $132,500 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $119,000 per year - $132,500 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
