About The RoleWe are searching for an Safety Operations Manager passionate about ensuring the quality, efficiency and efficacy of our intake, agent readiness and feedback loop processes for the Operations and Insights team. The role requires strong business acuity and a deep dedication to process, standardization and governance.Your efforts will produce better outcomes for our customers and a faster, more accurate process for the business. This will be an operational leadership role with a heavy focus on stakeholder engagement, managing and executing on complex processes, leading cross-functional collaboration, driving regional alignment, and improving processes through data analytics, organization, and teamwork.This position can be based in most Uber hubs and is a hybrid role. What You’ll Do
  • Drive standardization across all aspects of global operations: intake request processes, agent readiness, audit builds, reporting processes, feedback loops, etc
  • Collaborate closely with Safety/Identity/Risk/Payments PMs on program ingestion / requirements
  • Build and drive optimization of audits (eg policy compliance audits)
  • Ensure agent readiness for all launches including: agent training, KB creation, SOP creation/testing, content updates
  • Drive ongoing program maintenance based on feedback from program teams and Ops; adhoc agent trainings, huddle guides, etc
  • Establish and manage feedback loops to program/policy/product for feedback on potential improvements
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience overall in operations and program management, with 2+ years of experience in Operations, Workforce Management, or Auditing
  • Very strong stakeholder management and negotiation experience
  • Process and quality improvement experience
  • Skilled in adaptable communication and can create clear narratives using Data and anecdotal evidence
  • Strong data analytics
  • Strong presentation creation experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of business operations and opposing pressures a business leader faces on a day to day basis
  • Experience working in the Safety process
About The TeamCommunity Operations is pioneering how Uber manages rider and driver partner support around the globe. This role will help unite our safety, risk, payments and identity support programs globally.For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $133,000 per year - $147,500 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $148,000 per year - $164,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $148,000 per year - $164,000 per year.For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $148,000 per year - $164,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
