About the Role

The Uber for Business Team is looking for sharp and highly motivated individuals to join our team! We need creative thinkers and builders with previous sales experience who are passionate about commercial businesses. You’ll be on the frontlines introducing Uber to organizations while developing and executing strategies around sales.

As a Senior Mid-Market Account Executive, you will be tasked at driving new business by winning long-term partnerships with our Top-Tier mid-market customers in India. You will collaborate with a cross functional team of Implementation Leads, Premium Support Specialists, Product Managers and others to drive customer acquisition and growth through operational & commercial excellence in a fast moving and innovative environment.

What You'll Do

  1. Creatively prospect into Mid-Market businesses
  2. Develop territory account plans to grow pipeline and break into whitespace
  3. Lead and coordinate end-to-end sales motion including qualification, pitch, contract, and legal negotiation to close deals
  4. Build strategic relationships to gain positioning with decision-makers and drive new business growth
  5. Continuously assess customers’ evolving needs and align Uber for Business’s value proposition
  6. Partner closely and build effective relationships with cross-functional business development and implementation teams
  7. Provide opportunity status by updating Salesforce, weekly forecasts, and quarterly business plans
  8. Construct and manage pipeline via Salesforce CRM; achieve all assigned quotas
  9. Identify customer needs, understand business drivers, and leverage Uber for Business to achieve mutual goals
  10. Retain and grow book of business through business reviews, expansion plans, upselling, cross-selling, and strong consultative relationships
  11. Drive meetings with C-Suite to align on partnership goals and gain buy-in for expansion initiatives
  12. Wear multiple hats: sales strategy, lead generation, sales, account management, and advocate for Uber for Business growth

Basic Qualifications

  1. 8+ years in full cycle B2B sales: prospecting, pitching & closing
  2. Shown success of hitting quarterly and annual sales quota targets
  3. Prior experience building and executing on territory and account plans
  4. Demonstrable experience using insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process
  5. Developing sales strategies and market pitch to respond to a dynamic market landscape

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Experience selling in the Mid-Market or Enterprise space
  3. Strong presentation and verbal communication skills with a solution oriented approach to working with prospects and customers
  4. Candid, meticulous, adaptable, and dedicated team-player who gets energy from building businesses
  5. Experience in Anything-as-a-Service (Tech Based), Tech that is consumption-based, selling into multiple verticals
