About the Role

Ads is one of Uber’s fastest-growing businesses and is a key contributor to Uber’s overall profitability goals. In 2025, Uber's Advertising revenue is up 60% year-over-year, crossing a $1.5 billion annual run-rate, proof that our platform delivers powerful impact for brands.

We are expanding the advertising organisation and building a suite of advertising products. Uber Advertising enables advertisers to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets.

In this role as Ad Operations Manager for the UK, you will support Uber’s Advertising business by guaranteeing flawless campaign set up and performance for our UK Advertisers. You will work with partners across the globe to propel the business forward, by acting as a coordinator for display, search and programmatic campaigns as well as bridging the gap between the business’ needs and the offshore operational team.

What You Will Do

- Partner with Account Executives, Account Managers, Audience Strategy and Data Analysts to ensure smooth campaign launch and mid-flight optimisations

- Execute multi-tier campaigns with various strategies: display, search, sponsored items, programmatic and others

- Understand Sales pipeline and coordinate the campaign operations across partners and offshore teams to ensure campaigns launch on time and successfully

- Troubleshoot live campaigns by proactively monitoring them and proposing optimisations to ensure they reach budget utilisation and performance indicators

- Closely supervise the offshore operational team supporting the region

- Partner with other managers on the Campaign and Creative Services team to improve SOP’s, launch new products and apply change management where needed

- Collaborate with Measurement Operations to drive campaign monitoring, insights and tooling improvements

- Work with Product and Engineering to identify changes to internal Ad systems / tools that reduce the occurrence and impact of bottlenecks affecting delivery scalability, and improve the efficiency and quality of ad campaigns

- Provide high-level POVs on industry trends and impact to Uber Advertising campaigns

- Participate in cross-functional team decisions and projects to enhance overarching process, workflow, and growth of Uber Advertising

What You Will Need

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  2. Proven experience working in the digital advertising industry (5+ years at least)
  3. Experience working in the UK market with advertisers in different industries (2+ years)
  4. Minimum of 5 years in Ad Operations, AdTech/digital advertising or equivalent experience at a data-driven, tech savvy company.
  5. Hands on experience managing and optimising digital advertising campaigns
  6. Strong analytical skills (data driven and quantitative skills) and Salesforce proficiency
  7. Strong project management capabilities with stakeholder management skills
  8. Ability to work cross functionally with many teams

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  1. Master's degree or equivalent
  2. 1+ year of people management experience
  3. SQL, Tableau experience highly preferred
  4. Experience working with advertiser clients across a range of industries (Travel, Retail, Luxury Goods, Finance, Media)
  5. Experience working with data management platforms and analytics tools (ex. Google Analytics, ComScore, etc)
  6. Knowledge of DFA/DCM, GAM, Sizmek, Innovid, Criteo, Citrus platforms preferred.
  7. Have a core operational understanding of critical campaign components such as brand safety guidelines, ad viewability, and filtering for suspicious and/or fraudulent media activity
  8. Nimble and fast - able to balance priorities and move quickly in a rapidly changing environment
  9. High standards and a bias toward action
