Palm Beach Shores Resort is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech. This is a fast-paced, full-time position requiring the skills of a team-oriented, enthusiastic and highly dependable associate. The applicant must be familiar with all aspects of maintenance, including but not limited to, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, carpentry, irrigation, etc. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a related field. Attention to detail and our Guests are #1 priority—flexible schedule, Days, nights, and weekends.

Job Duties: Performs various maintenance duties, including but not limited to painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and irrigation.

Requirements

Ability to communicate with guests & co-workers in a polite, professional manner

Ability to deal with guest inquiries and requests

Ability to complete assigned tasks promptly

Able to lift to 100lbs and climb a 40 ft ladder

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Ability to use various hand tools, pressure washer, saws, and drills

Ability to represent the company professionally and communicate good customer service skills.

Must like to deal with the public

Must be customer service-oriented
