Position Summary

The Sr In House Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring the marketing team is scheduling appointments for timeshare owners who are staying at the resorts to attend a sales presentation. The Sr In House Marketing Manager monitors the tracking of all premium (gifts) incentives offered to customers who attend the tour. Communicates effectively with marketing staff to ensure the company is represented properly and is responsible for quality customer service between the guest and the representatives.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans to drive qualified leads and tour flow for timeshare sales, specifically through in-house marketing programs and initiatives.

  • Coordinate messaging and targeting across all in-house channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and sales objectives.

  • Manage the customer greeting procedure, ensuring customers and their families are greeted and feel comfortable.

  • Ensure guest complaints are handled in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile customer sales lists to the Welcome Desk lists.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Communicate daily reports to the Marketing Director.

  • Prepare daily tour logs and deposit sheets and make deposits to the location safe.

  • Interact with vendors as needed.

  • Analyze results and provide regular reporting with insights and recommendations specific to in-house marketing channels.

  • Maintain the required Cost per Tour.

Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration

  • Manage relationships with external agencies, lead generation partners, and vendors.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all in-house marketing communications.Supervise marketing representatives.

  • Conduct preliminary interviews and give hiring recommendations to the Marketing Director.

  • Ensure that employees are adhering to the schedule as written, including overseeing that all overtime has written approval from the Corporate Director prior to being taken.

  • Ensure all employees are working at the location assigned.

  • Communicate training needs, recommendations for coaching forms and write-ups to the Marketing Director, as well as ensure employees are improving in areas of concern.

  • Recommend terminations for all marketing personnel.

  • Conduct training for low performers based upon direction from the Marketing Director.

Market & Audience Insights

  • Stay informed on timeshare sales trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior relevant to in-house lead generation.

  • Assist owners before their scheduled tour by answering any questions they may have regarding the resort or the surrounding area.

  • Direct owners as to where to purchase attraction tickets.

  • Assist owners with restaurants, shopping, or medical needs.

Qualifications

  • Must demonstrate excellent supervisory skills with the ability to train, motivate, and discipline personnel.

  • Experience in tour reception, training, recruiting and developing teams.

  • 3 years of experience in In House Marketing, selling packages and creating and managing pipelines.

  • 2 years of experience in leadership/management experience within the timeshare industry.

  • Prior customer service experience.

  • Knowledge in computer software is required such as Microsoft Word, Excel and general computer applications.

  • Excellent project management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks simultaneously for different locations or programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background specifically in the timeshare or vacation ownership industry.

  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Understanding of sales funnel dynamics and lead nurturing.

  • Demonstrated experience in partnership development and community engagement for lead generation.

Working Conditions:

This position is on site. The role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment, effectively manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. Clear and effective communication skills are essential, along with strong organizational abilities to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Requirements:

Perform primarily sedentary work within an office environment, with occasional standing or walking required. Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods, typically 8 hours per day. Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets is required. Must be able to occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds. Regular, reliable, and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
