We’re seeking an experienced Vice President of Safety, Security & Business Continuity to lead enterprise-wide strategies that protect Vacatia’s people, assets, and operations. Your Impact

• Lead the development and execution of Vacatia’s enterprise safety, security, and business continuity strategy, ensuring consistent standards across all corporate and resort operations.

• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability audits, and pre-acquisition reviews to identify exposures and develop mitigation plans.

• Oversee all incident and claim management, serving as the enterprise lead for guest, associate, and property-related incidents.

• Partner with IT and Risk Management to implement cybersecurity and digital risk protocols, including training and response plans.

• Design and maintain a comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) framework integrated into daily operations.

• Lead enterprise crisis response and restoration efforts following natural disasters, cyber events, or other major disruptions.

• Establish a formal vendor oversight program for safety, restoration, and emergency partners, ensuring consistent SLAs and accountability.

• Build a culture of preparedness and continuous improvement through training, leadership development, and cross-functional engagement.
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Risk Management, Emergency Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in safety, security, risk management, or business continuity within hospitality, real estate, or multi-site operations.

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, ADA, NFPA, FEMA, and applicable safety and risk regulations.

• Proven success in developing and leading enterprise-level safety, crisis response, and restoration programs.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and digital incident management.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage at the executive level.

• Strategic, analytical mindset with a track record of implementing scalable systems, dashboards, and governance frameworks.
