As receptionist you will be a vital member of the Facilities Team, responsible for managing the front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for visitors and employees. You will work in close collaboration with Executive Assistants and the People Team to provide administrative support and enhance overall office functionality. You will enjoy being at the heart of the office, engaging with a variety of people and handling diverse tasks daily.
What You’ll Do:
- Front desk management
- Process incoming/outgoing mail
- Facilities team administrative support
- Monitor and manage meeting room calendars
- Assist with coordination of all onsite meetings and events
- Provide backup support to Executive Assistants during peak times or absences
- Coordinate weekly lunch delivery for all onsite Ro’ers
- Support special projects for People Team
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional, and empathetic experience
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence in interactions by reading social cues, adapting communication style, and promoting a positive and professional atmosphere
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, maintaining discretion and professionalism
- Exhibit adaptability, flexibility, and exceptional customer service in supporting both employees and visitors
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role
- Technical proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft, Envoy & Kisi
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

The target base salary for this position ranges from $23/hr - $26/hr in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
